DAY 1 (34 miles) – Carcassonne / Limoux
Guided tour of the medieval city, the most well-preserved in Europe and listed as UNESCO’s World Heritage.
We will go visit a traditionnal  vineyard near Limoux, home of the famous « Blanquette de Limoux », along with a wine tasting.
Dinner. Night’s lodging.

DAY 2 (162 miles) – Cucugnan / Quéribus / Peyrepertuse / Rennes le Château
We will start our day by visiting Cucugnan, made famous by the french writer Alphonse Daudet.
Then, we will take a look at Quéribus castle before going to Peyrepertuse.
Guided tour of the Cathar castle.
Dinner. Night’s lodging.

DAY 3 (50 miles) – Fontfroide / Corbières
Guided tour of the Fontfroide cistercian abbey, established in the early 11th century, a few miles out of Narbonne and the Mediterrean Sea.
Wine tasting in the Corbières area, right between mountains and sea.
Back to your starting point in the evening.
