Anduze . Saint-Jean-du-Gard . Pont du Gard 

Day 1 : Pottery –  Anduze
Departure. Lunch. Guided tour of Anduze. Visit a pottery workshop to admire the ancestral craftsmanship from the region.
Settle into your 3* hotel not far from Anduze where you will stay for 2 nights. Welcome cocktail. Dinner and night.

Day 2 : Banboo park – Cévennes steam train – St Jean du Gard
Breakfast. Visit the Bamboo park: an exotic park created in 1855 which is the only forest of giant bamboos in Europe. Spanning over 10 acres, you can easily imagine yourself in the Far East for two hours. The Bamboo park also awakens your senses to smell, see and discover the rare flowers, trees from the world over, the largest variety of bamboos in Europe, ponds, Japanese Koi carps, greenhouses, nurseries, Laotian huts, shops and plant sales which will all make for an enjoyable exotic time. Then hop onto the Cévennes steam train which pulls in to the station. Once the locomotive is lubricated and the water tank filled, you’ll be stepping back in time riding over viaducts and through tunnels along the Gardon river until you reach Saint Jean-du-Gard. Lunch. Visit St Jean du Gard. Step back in time once more as you wander through the lanes whilst listening to local tales. Dinner and night.

Day 3 : Haribo – Pont du Gard
Breakfast. Visit the Haribo Museum. Slip back into your childhood with Haribo –kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo!!! Visit the famous Pont du Gard. The Pont du Gard aqueduct is an antique architectural masterpiece, and stands as one of the finest Roman constructions in the region. Guided tour (no canal crossing). Lunch in front of the monument. Return journey.
